Delivery Dilemma Solved: How Doufu outsourced its Deliveries with Evermile

The demand for healthy and authentic Southeast Asian food and recipes led Bob Zhang to open Doufu in 2020. “Tofu sounds like Doufu in China. It is one of the most commonly consumed foods across Asian countries because of its healthy nutrition and effects”, he explains.

His objective was to deliver authentic cuisines with fresh and quality local produce and bring customers home food and memories from Southeast Asia. Doufu started as a local shop but very quickly went online and gained the attention of customers across London. 

Bob has been looking for ways to fulfill orders for customers who wanted more delivery options, including Next day and Same-day. “The available options were extremely expensive and required me to commit to volumes”, says Bob. Like many small businesses, Bob ended up doing home deliveries himself using his car for customers who wanted faster delivery.
